FVD exhaust install/nice local shop -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Tuesday, January 3, 2012 I had my FVD sound version exhaust installed. I brought it to GreenMotorsport (located at 8432 Alban Road Springfield, Virginia 22153) and could not be more satisfied with the exhaust and customer service provided. The customer service there goes beyond words. Great group of guys from the owner David Green to his entire staff, I just wanted to thank them all. It's a very nice/clean shop. I found out about this local shop actually by a very respected person on this forum, Rhonda from FVD. David is also an FVD vendor!! Here's what Rhonda wrote to me in a PM:

The day I ordered my exhaust it was on back order :-/ I wasnt too upset because I waited this long what's a little longer. But both Rhonda and David kept in touch with me via email and phone calls. Again I was very satisfied with the service they both provided. Rhonda contacted Germany to see if their was any way they can get the exhaust here as soon as possible. Even with FVD-Germany on a skeleton crew for the holidays they were able to make it happen :-) Now to the install. The install went pretty smooth. The only problem they encountered was removing the stock exhaust due to one of those hard to reach screws that broke. Once they removed the stock exhaust it was smooth sailing from there. The FVD exhaust fits and uses the stock brackets without any fitment issues. The exhaust looks great and the only way I can describe it is pure quality. I'm glad I went with this system and didn't give in and buy a "cheaper" system. The start up sound is a nice deep sound. David was standing next to me when they started & revved my car and noticed the HUGE grin on my face that I could not hide. The growling sound is just breathtaking. Once I left the shop I could not be any happier. With a combination of the outstanding customer service and new exhaust, I felt I was in heaven. With the new sound I felt like I could drive all the way to California and back! (If you guys didn't notice by now I am very big on customer service) I provided a link to GreenMotorsport and the services they provide. Good to have for anyone who lives in VA, MD, or DC Green MotorSport new store Grand Opening And their online store Porsche, Tuning, Motorsport, Accessories, Performance Well I am at work and wanted to give a quick review. I am still thinking about my car and can't wait to drive it home! :-) GreenMotorsport plans on having meets with Porsches and other Car Forums there as well in the near future. I will keep you guys posted for a nice local meet!

For about six months I’ve been searching for an exhaust system for my 2011 Base Cayman that I will get with no regret and finally the search is over. Yesterday I had my FVD Brombacher sound version exhaust installed at Green MotorSport (703-229-1313 located at 8432 Alban Road Springfield, Virginia 22153).
As they drove my car inside the shop, I heard the stock exhaust (BORING) sound for the last time. Anxiously waiting at the lounge area, I was listening at every sound that’s coming from the shop and attempting to anticipate what my car will sound after. As I hear them installing back the rear tires on my car I said to myself “this is it”. As soon as they started my car a BIG SMILE on my face is just undeletable, the sound is very impressive. I test drove my car and immediately noticed a big difference vs stock. The shifting from first to sixth is a whole lot smoother and effortless. The sound…EXTREMELY INTOXICATING!!!specially passing by a bridge with windows down. Rich (Acosta) told me that his FVD exhaust sounds like a super car on the hwy and I replied “That explains why there’s a Maserati that’s been following me yesterday LOL”. These words have been said numerous times and I will say it again “this is how a Cayman should sound and drive coming out of the assembly”.
To all of you guys/gals interested in getting an aftermarket exhaust for your Cayman, I fully recommend the FVD Brombacher sound version and like what Rich (Acosta) said “you will not be disappointed”. I will post some pics and video as soon as I can, and of course, a very special thanks to David Green and his team at GreenMotorsports who worked on my car with care and professionalism. These guys are the best at what they do and I highly recommend and trust them. Looking forward for my next mod with these guys. Thank you Rhonda of FVD for the info you sent me about the FVD exhaust, I'm really satisfied with the quality, sound and performance of your product.
